The intent of this site is in the short term to discourage people from using shock devices and in the longer term to promote a ban on the sale and use of electric shock collars as other countries such as Wales in the U.K. is in the process of doing. Assembled are policies, advisements, new stories and editorials that expose shock collars as weapons of mass suffering by using pain to train. Our aim is to motivate people to seek out humane non-violent alternatives of interacting with animals. Although there are many organizations using terms and names that imply they are animal welfare groups dedicated to the well being of animals they are in fact simply money making ventures. My belief is that the policies presented here come from credible esteemed organizations and individuals who collectively represent hundreds of years of experience and knowledge in the course of their service to the welfare and well-being of animals throughout the world.
