Kamp K9 for Kids will be held August 5-9, 2013, 2013 at Bloomer Park in Rochester Hills, MI!
We look forward to seeing your child at Kamp K9!

Kamp K9 for Kids is for animal loving students in Grades 6-9 for a week of fun animal-related activities. Cost of the camp is only $125 and includes t-shirt, treat bag, water and craft materials. Pizza will be provided on Friday for the graduation ceremony. During the week, campers will take on real-life experiences and learn how to speak “dog” with local shelter canines as well as have the opportunity to hear from veterinarians, animal rescues and more! With a focus on responsible pet ownership and humane education, campers will also work with shelter dogs from K9 Stray Rescue League using positive training methods to help the dogs modify their behaviors and increase their chances of being adopted into permanent homes. Support for Teacher’s Pet and Kamp K9 comes from generous contributions from donors and grantors. For more information, to register for Kamp K9 or to make a donation, contact Maureen at dfdmom@hotmail.com.

* We try to keep the cost of the camp low so that as many children as possible can attend; however, it does not cover all the costs of the camp. If you have items available to donate, we could still use help with donations of dog treats, collars and leashes, snacks or monetary support. Teacher's Pet is a 501(c)3 non profit. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
