DOGS
The dogs we use for our programs are dogs in need of a little extra TLC. They come from Oakland Pet Adoption Center, K9 Stray Rescue League in Oxford, Macomb County Animal Shelter, and Detroit Dog Rescue. They receive a temperament assessment and health check before entering the program. Typically our dogs have had a harder time getting adopted because of their behavior-related issues. Dogs benefit from the training they receive and are much more adoptable once the program is complete.
